Creating a PDF Version of your Paper using IEEE PDF eXpress

The camera-ready submission MUST be in PDF format only. The PDF file will be later uploaded to IEEE Xplore, under the condition that it meets the PDF specifications for IEEE Xplore. To create an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF or to verify that your self-created PDF file is IEEE Xplore-compliant, the APCC2008 TPC strongly recommends the use of the IEEE PDF eXpress service.

IEEE PDF eXpress service for APCC2008 will be available after 23, July 2008 and can be used as follows:

  • Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/log.asp
    • If you are new to IEEE PDF eXpress, create a new account using Conference ID apcc08x.
    • If you already have your account on IEEE PDF eXpress, login with Conference ID apcc08x
  • Submit your PDF file (for checking) or source files (for conversion). For conversion, following formats are acceptable as source files:
    • (La)TeX (a DVI and supported image files must be included in a compressed archive)
    • Microsoft Word
    • PageMaker (images should not be embedded, included with main file in a compressed archive)
    • Other forms can be also used for conversion. See the application formats in the IEEE PDF eXpress page
  • You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached.

Copyright Transfer Form

A signed statement of the copyright transfer agreement must be received by the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (the "IEICE") when you upload your final camera-ready manuscript to APCC2008.

In addition, this copyright transfer includes that authors agree to grant the following non-exclusive permissions to the IEEE in order for the above manuscript to be included in IEEE Conference Publications Program.

  • Permission to purchase, promote and sell the manuscript in IEEE electronic product offerings.
  • Permission to render print copies for administrative purposes.
  • Permission to render print copies for resale.

A printed copy of the copyright transfer form must be signed and sent by August 18, 2008.

To access the copyright upload form, click on the 'My Papers' tab in EDAS and then click on the copyright icon under the copyright column (second column from the right).
